I continue to perform my magic on the spanish language front and here is a phrase for all you buddding spanish linguists out there. You remember the song that goes ke se ra se ra whatever will be will be, may have been a julie andrews number, well all you have to use is the ke se ra se ra bit. The next bit is pretty easy to remember if you think of David/Richard Attenborough documentaries where he is always mentioning the animals habitat, you just put a spanish twist on it, habitation. Then all you do when you get to the place you want to stay is put it all together and you have
ke se ra se ra - habitation - double and hey presto they are asking you how many nights and all that sort of stuff whereby I revert back to my English and ask them if they actually thought I was Spanish to which they laugh and give the best service possible
We stayed a couple of nights in Cordobes and pretty much the big ticket item on the tourist front was the the Mosquita or the Mosque that was converted into a church by the Catholics, presumably as the ultimate insult to the Moslims who created the mosque. The other thing we had to do is get a present for Chia to take to her friends wedding, which we were able to ask a somellier at a restaurant where we could get a hold of half a dozen bottles of Spanish champagne from.
