Not gonna lie, today wasn't the best we have had so far. A lot of driving, a lot of city driving, and one stinky ass/nasty lake. I always wanted to see Salt Lake ,not necessarily the city, but the lake it self so we drove south today. We read in a few books that Antelope Island was a pretty cool place to go.... Yeah not so much! The Lake was pretty much the most nastiest place ever. You would take one step and no less than 10,000 bugs would fly away, they covered to shore line, YUCK!!! Jess stayed away from the bugs and I decided to venture into the lake to see if my foot would float, and it didn't. So going to Salt Lake was pretty much not our favorite place as of yet.
Like we said, today all we did was drive, so we were pretty tired of sitting in Van, so we decided to call it a night and camp it up in Provo. Definitely not the best place we stayed but it is one step up from our first night. Tomorrow we're on our way to Moab, Utah. We should be able to get there in a decent time. We're looking forward to getting away from a big city and off the freeway. Today is the first time we have been on a freeway since we left home on I-84. Which, ironically we were back on for a few miles today.
Moab should be cool, a few national parks are in the surrounding area and hopefully a brewery, if not we're at least looking forward to the MOAB burrito. (mother of all burritos)
Pretty sure we wont be able to post for a few days, so don't worry, we'll fill you in ASAP.
Till then....
