How time has passed so quickly, and my 60-day tourist visa has now expired, I will never quite understand. Still, over the border with a weekend bag I go. I’m taking Monday and Tuesday off, so a nice long weekend to see HK again whilst my new visa in processed. I’m staying back at the directors apartment in Tsuen Wan, once again, incredibly hospitable of her.  The car makes it to the apartment for 7p.m. and I am - FREE! Yes, I went to a shop, unaccompanied. Most surprisingly, nothing happened. I didn’t explode or get kidnapped.
The local shop to here is full of Western food, I’m stuck for choice. I do however manage to find my now-favourite Meji ice cream… so good!  Out of the shops and I find myself gawping at other Westerners… I’m getting as bad as the Gongming locals, but I have literally only seen two others in the past 4weeks, bar myself in the mirror of course.
I’m supposed to be meeting a friend tonight for dinner, but he’s held up at work - and doesn’t call until gone 11 from the office. So I have a night in with some beer, ice cream and Moulin Rouge, again, and get a good sleep after a very tiring week.
