Of course I over slept the morning of Halloween, got to work an hour late, so stayed an hour and a half extra, damaging my time out enjoying the festivities. But for the little time I got to spend out there, it was SO much fun :)

Parading myself through my quaint residential Upper East Side neighbourhood in my strappy, short, Ninja Turtle costume -- among children escorted by their parents who turned their to look at me (at least one father watched), I felt more like a 'green prostitute in a half shell' than my ideal perception of Michelangelo =/
Regretfully, I didn't have enough time to alter it or design my own costume though so I had to make it work, which I did ;)

Met everyone at Washington Square Park to watch the last hour of the parade and then the bf chivalrously treated my girls and I to drinks at a nearby lounge ^_^

Dashed back home after to make work the next morning -- six hours later >_<

Very nice night, with very cool costumes.

Love NYC's celebration of Halloween!

AND -- I've now officially been in Manhattan for a year now ;)

(SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy/thankful I've stayed)
