We drove through miles and miles and miles and ...MILES of corn fields in the state of South Dakota that we found out does truly exist. They have so much corn there that they actually have a palace there made of corn. I realize that it sounds unreal, but you can look at the pictures! South Dakota had some amazing things to offer us especially since we were sure what to expect from a state that we didn't even think existed. After more fields of nothing but flat land we came upon a place where God opened up the earth and created hundreds of tiny little mounds of rock with faint red stripes painted across them. As we drove through these Badlands (that we felt should more appropriately be named the "Goodlands" because of their sheer beauty and grandeur), we got to see the sun slowly sink down and paint the sky with its beautiful colors. It painted everything in beautiful rays of yellows and pinks and we all basked in this glorious sight that God had laid before us. Prairie Dogs ran round from hole to hole and majestic rams graced the side of the highway. People often say that things are breath taking, but this truly was a breathtaking experience. We had to pull over at the end of the path to just take a breath and pray to thank God for this amazing experience!

Beautiful!
God's Creation, certainly, but who took the picture with all four of you in it? God Himself? Maybe Crazy Horse?
