Hello one last time from New York, New York.

Well I thought I would give on last update before we head home tomorrow.

We went to Upright Citizens Brigade tonight.   We did not know what to expect and when we arrived, we found ourselves the seniors of the crowd.  Not the oldest but most were 18 to 25.  We were not sure if it would be for us.   It is in an unassuming basemnet with the audience on 3 sides of the stage.

Once the show started we were greated by Amy Poehler  , form Satuday Night Iive.   There was a cast of about 8 people and three were from SNL.  They were Seth Meyers, Amy Peohler and another guy ( sorry forgot who he was but recognized him and heard his credits which were SNL.)    They did skits much like "Whose line is it anyway"  Not the same format but it was skits made up on the spot.   It was fun and at times hilarious.   It was only an hour and that was about right.   We were really pleasantly surprised and it was yet another side to New York's many things to do.

We are organizing our bags as we watch the Tony awards to see if Spring Awakening wins best Musical amongst other awards.     We then have one last morning to enjoy the city then home.   We both agree we look forward to seeing our pets, family and friends and our own bed, but we shutter at the idea of returning to work and normal life.   We are spoiled by the excitement of the Big Apple.

I will post one more update when we get home or a day or so after that to recap tomorrow.
Thanks to all you who read our travel blog and sent comments.   This has been a new experiance for us and although a bit daunting to update each day, it has been fun and will serve us well as a journal to help us remember our travels.

Thanks and see you soon
