Hello form the the Home of the Yankees.

We are now on our last full day here.   The last couple of days we have said that a small part of us looked forward to going home just to rest.  We do love it here but it has been exhausting.   Now that, the time to depart draws near we find that going home is less appealing even though we are ready to rest.

We started out our day with a Bagel in hand, going for a long walk through Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen to a a Flea Market.   It was not that amazing to be truthful but they did have some unique items that were intersting to browse through and Colleen you would have loved it.   It was mostly antique items.  We did off course find a couple small things to buy hahahah.

We then did a long weave through the Times Square area buying a few small souveniers.   Along the way we came across this huge needle and button.

Our afternoon was the Broadway Show "Spring Awakening"   which is nominated for 11 Tony's which are on tonight here in New York.  We had tickets right on stage.   We were not sure what to expect.    The theatre was really beutiful and we locked up our stuff in our own personnel locker and headed to our seats on stage.   Our seats were in the front row (of the onstage seats) and were right on the front of the stage.    The show started and we were only feet and sometimes beside and in the middle of the show.  It was an amazing experance.  The Band is righ there beside us and the Rock tunes are sang right in front of us.   You had to tuck in your legs not to get danced on.   I had a couple cast members sit beside me in scenes where they did not partake.   Korinne had a background singer right behind her.   The show was riveting.  I hardly noticed I was on stage in front of a sold out 1030 people crowd.   The story is an emotional story of youth coming of age, sex, and death.   It is was our favorite show.    Very Very good.   After I was tired just from the adreniline rush.

We walked back to Chelsea and ate at RUB (Rightous Urban Barbecue) and shared some ribs and chicken fingers.   It was good.

Tonight we are off to comedy skit show that we believe will be like "whos line is it any way"

I will try and do one more update before we leave but cant promise I will.

605 photos and a million memories so far.

Vaughn and Korinne.
