Greetings form the Liberty City,

Last night we did walk the Brooklyn Bridge at night.   We took the Subway to Brooklyn and walked back to Manhattan.   We were tired but again the exhilarating experience wiped the tiredness away.   It was an experience and view we will not soon forget.   The lights are amazing.   We took many pictures using various settings very few turned out.  If we shook even a little it wrecked the shots.  The brige is always vibrating from traffic so it is very difficult to take a good picture.   The ones that sort of turned out really do not do it justice.  You will have to take our word for it.

Today I woke up with a full blown cold.   Korinne is tired but not sick.   I medicated and headed out.   We went to The Natural History Museum for "A Day at The Museum" hahahah.   We did not take many pictures as the lighting is poor here and it would not work but have included a couple below.   It was a prety kid crazy place and the building really echoes which amplifies the sounds.   It was better than the time me and my mom were there though.   We did the highlights, visiting the Replica Blue Whale (BIG) and the dinasours and many other areas we skimmed.   We did really enjoy the parts on earth quakes and rocks of the world.   It was very interesting and they had a large screen showing all earthquake activity in the world.  It shows earthquakes happening at the moment and in days and weeks past as well as there magnitude.  Very cool to look at.   We then went to the Space Show in the planetarium.   It was a diffent show than the last time I was there, but just as good.  It is a show in a dome with tilting seats and the roof turns into the screen.   It uses movies and lasers and the seats vibrate etc.  The works.   All this put together makes for an engrosing experiance.   As you fly through space you have the definate sens of movement without felling sick.  Very cool.

We walked through the Upper West Side.  A very beutiful and affluent neighbourhood with great houses.   We did a tasting tour.   We had a cookie at Levian Bakery and had the best Choclate chip cookie EVER.   I had a hot dog a Gray's Papaya that is a famous chep hotdog place.  NOT the best hotdog anytime.  Pretty bad !  but it was one hotdog so no big loss.  Then we had a cupcake from another bakery.  It was good !  Best was the cookie though.
We stopped and Korinne striked a pose at Madonna's New York Apartment.

We took the Subway to Macy's as Korinne thought she wanted a top she had scene there.  Once she tried it on she did not get it.   Took one more picture of the Empire State Building.  We walked a the area and came home as I was feeling rough.    We plan to rest and head out for supper and a walk tonight.

Take Care

eating
no wonder you guys are tired, you eat everywhere you go...you are too full to move..haha. Sounds like a blast. I can only imagine how nice the city would look at night. maybe stop in at a camera place and ask them what the best settings would be for your camera for night shots!

Have fun!
Steve
