Where I stayed

I am staying at my parent's place in North Potomac, MD. I arrived early in the morning on July 7th and plan to spend a few days recuperating before flying to Buffalo to secure an apartment.

I have decided to complete my MD/PhD degree at the University of Buffalo/Roswell Park Cancer Center but before I start my program I will need to sort out some administrative details.

While in the Washington DC area, I visited my sister in Silver Spring, MD. She took me to see the new Disney movie Up (which I thought was very funny) and we ate at a nice Ethiopian Restaurant.

I shaved my head back to a crew cut and met up with some old friends from high school. I helped my parents paint the front door of their house and did some shopping for my upcoming trip to New York.

We went as a family to a Thai Restaurant in Rockville City Center and I was impressed with its speedy service and modern decor.
