Tonight we fly via Doha to Copenhagen, the first leg of our Scandinavian adventure. The ostensible purpose is to visit our son Jack who is researching in Oslo, but we hope to see as much as we can in the meantime. Have packed the 30+ year old Swedish grammar into my carryon language and plan to brush up the 3 words I can remember from uni days. I knew they would come in handy one day!! Just need John to arrive home from work. Looks like our ride to the airport could arrive before he does. Anyway...the new adventure begins.
