Well, I think I have seen enough temples for the moment - some nice shots in Kyoto and Nara. So today (Friday 15th October) I am taking it easy - uploading the photos, reading my book, eating cake and writing postcards as I dont think my legs can carry me any distance at all.
Kyoto was a nice change from Tokyo and less busy - with a great transport system around the sights. Nara is usually a day trip from Kyoto to see the park and the temples but I am staying here for two days as its nice to relax somewhere smaller and chill out.
Most of the story of the trip is with the photos so when you click on them you will see additional text. Some videos as well so turn on the sound to hear my dodgy commentary.
On to Hiroshima tomorrow and then the farm on Monday. Not sure what the email situation will be like after Monday but they do say they have internet access. Probably wont upload any photos or do the blog until 5th or 6th November when I go to Matsuyama and the big city.
Take care
