Went too this cute little cafe called Scone Witch, with a waitress who loved our accents and did a pretty decent impression of them (Ness didn't think so)
They were all out of sweet scones because of the Royal Wedding (Pedram was really sad....practically crying)
Windiest day i have EVER experienced!! So windy it actually managed to blow the bobble out my hair! Not the best for mine and Ness' beast manes but so funny!
Love walking down the streets here...everything's just so big and you can tell its North America with the high 'side walks' and yellow traffic lights
I love being here and can't wait for America.
Went to 'Beavertails' for what I thought were going to be real deep fried Beaver tails from what Ness and Pedram told me!!! Shame on me for actually believing them.
'Oh its not that bad. it just tastes like doughnuts....'
'that's because it is doughnuts jess'
Experienced the famous 'country night' at Cabin - a bar in the Byward Market. Loved it :D!
Loved the music....I really did fit in with the cringeyness of the place! yehaaaa! LOL!
Everyone was determined to stay up to watch the Royal Wedding when we got back (I was not so enthusiastic). Thankfully everyone fell asleep on the sofas well before 6am - so I got away with not having to watch it and went to bed...I'll admit it was pretty exciting watching the highlights the next morning.
