From Puno it took a good 5 hours in the bus. The border was a question of lining up, walking over the border and getting an entry stamp, painless and fairly quick. We chose to go to Copacabana as it was a nice in between stop to laPaz and we had heard of a lovely hostel. We stayed on the hill overlooking the bay, in a lovely hostel and a lovely room. Lucky for me we could relax here two days as I got hit by the Soroche (altitude sickness) pretty bad at this point, so relaxing is exactly what we did. We had lunch at a family restaurant were served by the kids, which made for unfortunate slow service (especially since half the time they didn't understand what you ordered so just brought you something else).
