Quito was a lovely city, were we visited several times as it is the main airport and bus hub for Ecuador. With a backdrop of mountains and a crazy eclectic cultural mix, the city center and its different suburbs were a great place to take some snap shots, walk around and try some food.

We met some great people at the hostel we stayed at, who in fact had a cook staying there which led to some interesting dinner parties.

We also went to a exhibition of an Ecuadorian artist names- Guayasamin- which we both really enjoyed, great place to visit if you like exploring new art!

Next Stop- GALAPAGOS!
