We really loved this really coastal town, which was a full two days drive from Pantanal and most welcome when we arrived! The camping we stayed at was right on the beach and a 10 minute walk to town. the little town was extremely pretty and cute, with cobble-stone streets and colored building as everywhere. The harbour is full of very cute little boats all catered to take you to the little Islands where you can go snorkeling in the clear blue green water, and swim while they prepare lunch and Caipirinas (yes, more of those!) for you.
We had some lovely walks in town, ate some lovely food (pricey though!) and had a full day boat cruise. the last night we had a great dinner with the group we had been travelling with, and whilst walking home got caught in a tropical rain storm :P. Couldn't have been any wetter!
