After sayign goodbye to Emily, Sam and Freya I caught a bus back to Playa Grande where I was going to move in with Lindsey from friend from Cayman and share her house in the Beachhouse complex...we are right near the Playa Grande beach and also a stones throw away from Lind's Rest/Bar Marbar. The house is rally nice with beautiful gardens and a great pool which I intend to hang out by alot each day!

In the time I spent back in Grande I did some yoga a Rip Jacks and Gail - Lindseys friend and the owner of the hotel where Marbar is taught me to surf...we had a blast playing in the waves...the rest fo the time in Grande I spent traipsing to Tamarindo to try and locvate my laptop that DHL where never able to deliver ....NEVER USE DHL IN COSTA RICA theya re appalling...I finally got it sent back to Cayman as I ran out of time in CR and the whole event took 9 weeks!!!!

We went to Tamarindo for a bit of dancin to Babylon the Reggae bar over there...it was a fun night with the girls and also very intersting seeing who could be the biggest tarts- the American tourist chicks or the hookers...the tourists won hands down...girls gone wild doesn't just happen at spring break it appears....it must be the bonus in the morning to wake up next to your reggae god to find out that he is no more than the local crack head!!! lol...it was funny to watch tho!

Playa Grande is a tiny wee town with a huge beach and great surf...hence the name...and lots of personailties to keep it all very intersting...especially in wet season...what can I say .... open air asylum comes to mind...haha...all fun and games. Linds and I had plenty to laugh about as there is fuel for the fire everyday!!!

Tourist season of course would be different and there would be plenty of party atmosphere and good times to be had in this under commercialsed town...a rare treat on the coast of Costa so if your looking for a chill spot with great surf...only a short walk and boat ride to the Tamarindo tourist trap then Playa Grande is the spot to come to...and while I'm plugging I think you should all stay at La Majada Hotel meaning The Swell Hotel in Spanish, and eat at Marbar...the food is brilliant and great for the budget minded traveller.

Kike's is great for Pizza and of course Kike's magic tricks....he owns the place and is a real treat!!! :o)

Lind's and I caught the afternoon bus outta town to San Jose as she was flying back to Cayman and I was heading to Atlanta to see Emily and ship some of my stuff home form her parents basement....the reality of moving hoem is getting closer.....
