There are 266 of these around London. Each one painted by a different artist. They are all for sale via Sotherby's and the money raised will go to protecting the Indian Elephant.
Regent Street sweeps perfectly. It is full of shopping opurtunities for women. It does have a very large apple shop which had people queuing for 16 hours to get the iphone 4 when it was released.
Mandatory Picadilly photo. The one Marty took of us did not have the full statue in it so we have had to show the one we took of them.
A tribute sculpture to Oscar Wilde in a lane on the way to Covent Garden
The girls didn't like me navigating with either my iPhone or iPad and insisted in working things out from a poor tourist map.
This it the view from the courtyard of a grand house in The Strand. Can't remeber who lived there or when but is was very flash and I am sure had more than a few bedrooms.
We went through Harrods and there would have been more tourists having a look than real shoppers. It is huge, at least 5 floors (each about and acre) of very expensive stuff but you can buy just about anything you can think of.
Most are standing up but this cute one was sitting down.
The Royal Courst of Justice. They look pretty scary......
This is the view from the steps of St Paul's Cathedral. There were many locals sitting having their lunch as well as many tourists.
