So the day of craziness was upon us! We had no idea where we going or why....but it just felt like a good idea! We had decided to drive to New Brunswick...cause it was another province to tick off and because we wanted to know if it was french or not!! (or we just wanted somewhere that spoke english!!)

Stopped for breakfast at the services....had little choice...couldn't even make a coffe without any gas for our burner. Turned out to be okay....cheap...had full breakfasts...no-one there spoke english....but it was becoming familiar by now!

Then it was drive, drive, drive, drive! We were following signs to Rivere-de-Loup...no idea how far it was...or how much further after that...but hey it was a road trip! Passed farms....farms and oh yeah farms! The highlight was the place called St Lois do Ha! Ha!, made us laugh anyway! Riviere-de-Loup turned out to be a really cool place....a lovely real town...well kept...looked like a place with money but not a tourist or tacky shop in sight! Had a wander...found some camping gas...in a designer camping shop....despite Neil doubting there would be anywhere! Then moved on.

More driving....was hoping everything would revertto English across the border....but no way...how wrong could we be....it just got even more confusing....the poor people living in the dull old town of Edmunston, had no idea what bloody language to speak! Somethings were in french, some english...and some both. It was really confusing...and such a dump! Couldn't even find anywhere for coffee...not that looked human anyway! Still we had made it to New Brunswick...another province to tick off the list! And it did have a Tim Houtons, so we could have coffee and doughnuts! Neil is turning into quite the Homer Simpson!!!!!!

Drove back along the same road....looking for campsites....of course there were none! Found one...seemed to be in the country..but after driving in a circle it was right by the main road....so we passed on that one....kept driving praying for a nice site...and then our prayers were answered!
It was some environmental-eco place...but looked really nice...the guy didn't speak a word of english...but a kind person staying there helped out! The site was amazing....right on the river and a nature reserve thing...birds and reeds and an amazing sunset! Had a campfire and cooked good food...oh yeah and cracked open the beer....just like a real camping experience should be!! Made me happy anyway! (and made the pointless but fun day worthwhile!)
