Arriving in Innsbruck we found no space in the coach park, so the driver dropped us off. We walked across the coach park and into the park, the pathway through the path was well trodden and was pretty much an ice rink it wasn't too much trouble for me but how some of the older members of our group navigated it im not too sure. At this point it was snowing as we walk down to the town the town itself has a set of T-shaped high buildings on the edge of a cathedral plaza, with the longer end of the T (housing arched walkways containing shops, bars and restaurants) edging on to the much wider high street. The high building streets housed the majority of the market stalls. As the day went on the temperature rose and with the weight of traffic the snow under foot began to become slushy, So after walking through the streets, taking in the souvenir shops and having a spicy hot dog from a stall i took a look around the cathedral plaza and the high street. After walking back through the streets and through the park it was around 3pm, the snow had begun to melt some more and the slush was turning into water puddles held in place by slush. Returning to the coach park the coach arrived and we headed back to the hotel.
