This you will find is a very short blog entry as this event consisted largely of standing or sitting on the deck of the ship watching Glacier Bay National Park go by. We entered the National Park at 10am where a number of park rangers joined us on the ship, they would spend the day either giving seminars or roaming the decks answering questions about the park. We spent the day sailing through the channel stopping at all the major glaciers on route, as we reached about half a mile from each glacier the ship came to a stop the captain made an announcement as to which glacier it was and then a park ranger gave commentary over the outer deck speakers. The ship then rotated 360 degreeson its axis 2 or 3 times (quite slowly) and then we moved on. After we had visited each of the Glaciers the ship turned around and headed back out, the park rangers left the ship around 5:30pm and we exited Glacier National Park at around 6pm and onto the next destination. I feel there would be no point in describing this as usual i feel the photos included do a far better job.
