Thursday was a quiet day around Anchorage. Vicki had to go to work for a while, so Warren and I hung around. When she was done, we headed downtown.

First stop was the Alaska Wild Berry, local chocolatier (sp) and great place to shop. They have a huge chocolate fountain in the lobby that I didn't manage to get pictures of, but Warren did.

After that we went into the downtown area and visited the Ulu Factory. The ulu is a distinctive Alaskan knife. Warren and Mary Ann gave me one years and years ago and I use it quite a bit.

We then went and parked farther downtown, in front of a place called Humpys (more about that later) and walked over to the town square. Bunches and bunches of flower beds so I HAD to take pictures.

After flower pictures we went to Humpys for dinner and I had my first experience with fish tacos (made with halibut) - not bad at all.

We made it back to the house in time for sunset...
