Spent day 19 driving 400 miles to Shelby, Montana where we eventually stopped for the evening in a motel when we were tired. It's weird how those sort of distances seem like a really long drive in the UK but are totally bearable here - think its because there is absolutely no traffic so driving is actually really easy.

The motel we stopped at was lovely - had a jacuzzi and swimming pool for us to rest our tired legs after 7 days of hiking plus the best bit - the room had 2 massive queen beds - a bed each! Also a nice treat to have a powerful hot shower and watch some telly for the first time since we left home. Nina found the E! Channel so spent the rest of the evening watching the Kardashians and getting her celeb goss fix whilst Pete moaned and took the opportunity having wifi to catch up on The Ashes/Gareth Bale situation. Had leftover pizza and plastic beakers of cheap wine for dinner in our beds - bliss.

On day 20 we drove the remaining 75 miles to Glacier NP. First impression was where the hell are the snow capped mountains?! Dr Randy in Yosemite told us it was cold up here already.... he lied. It's 30 degrees and there's no snow, it looks just like Yellowstone! We did a couple of trails in the Two Medicine area - one to Running Eagle Falls and one to Paradise Point. Both pleasant enough but not that different from what we have done in the other parks. We then drove up to the Many Glacier area where we saw some bighorn sheep on the mountain side.

Stayed outside the park tonight in a cabin in a place called Babb. Very rustic and basic (its made of MDF) but comfy.
