With my finances dwindling faster than a speeding bullet, I decided that before my trip to Germany I shall limit my outdoor excursions to the local 'cost cutter' grocery store. Not that groceries come cheap in London! As a result I ended up spending quite a bit of time indoors (a much needed respite from London's scorching summer with the highest ever temperature being recorded at 36 degrees celsius). There was definitely a plus side to that too. I ended up devouring Aditya's great movie collection. I saw some all time classics like Carlito's way, The gangs of New York, Bugsy, Where Eagles dare, Dirty Harry, A Passage to India, Apocalypse Now and Melena (in which Monica Belluci redefined elegance).
