we went on a big bus with 4 other people and set off from galway for a tour of the cliffs of moher and the burren. our first stop was at the alliwee caves where we had a half hour walking tour through the naturally formed limestone caves. next we stopped at a megalithic tomb formed with 3 large stone slabs. we drove from there to the cliffs of moher. we got there just in time to see the cliffs before the fog set in. it was nice to see it in the fog compared to the way all the post cards are! we spent some quality time in the gift shop then drove down the road to the small town of doolin for lunch. we had a few stops on the way back to galway at some smaller cliffs and at a castle. it was a really good tour despite the weather! we then spent the evening at some of galway's traditional music pubs
