on our 5th try we finally managed to go on the tour to powerscourt house! we drove out of the city through the docklands and past the uni campus to dun laoghaire, the major harbour town in dublin city. we stopped in bray, a seaside town further down the coast for a quick walk around then back on the bus to enniskerry where powerscourt house and gardens. we didn't see much of the house but the gardens were beautiful and definitely worth the trip. we drove back into the city through some of the more affluent suburbs. the driver dropped us off outside our hotel and we grabbed our stuff and headed for the train station to catch a train to tralee in county kerry where we stayed in the same hostel we were in the week before
