Today we went out to phoenix park (because our tour was cancelled again!) caught the bus out and roamed around some of the 1572 acres looking for the bike hire place, which was unfortunatel closed for renovation. We managed to find the zoo where we got a map of the park, discovered it was far too big to walk so we decided to wait for the shuttle bus. After 45 minutes we gave up waiting and decided to walk. We saw the papal cross where pope john paul II did mass infront of over 1 million people in the 70's. We saw the residences of the irish president and the us ambassador. Then we went to the visitor centre for lunch, found the bus and did the 40 minute tour round the park before catching the normal bus back into town to meet shankari and Alana for dinner
