Prague is a lovely city, if you could actually move in the old part of town. So incredibly busy with the thousands and thousands of tourists. Luckily they sleep at night and I would wander the streets until early in the morning.

I decided to gain some much needed culture in my life and showed up at the ticket office for the ballet and opera. I showed them my long since expired student card and asked for a student ballet ticket for that evening and a student opera ticket for the following night.

It's unbelievable how incredible the talent is in the Czech Republic. I had great tickets for both shows (partly because I moved from the standing section down to the 8th row of the floor. But both tickets cost me one euro each. And the Opera and Ballet buildings were beautiful. I saw a relatively modern ballet called The Family Album and Verdi's opera Aida.

I celebrated my birthday in Prague with an Indian curry and some Absinthe with extra chemical enhancing properties, but sadly (or happily depending on how you look at it) I did not cut off my ear like Vincent.
