So after enjoying a night of sleep in one of London's sporadic airports and cheap airline flights, I awoke to find myself in Warsaw. Poland is actually a beautiful country. However, the british are moving in, buying up houses and apartments and drinking copious amounts of alcohol, so not as cheap as I'd expect with the influence of the pound.

The impact of Italian Gelato can be seen in almost every country I've been in and Poland is no exception. Wandering around was made so much easier by the tasty, refreshing treat.

For some reason I picked the one day of the year when Warsaw opens its museums to the people for free. So from 7pm until 1am there is this very old bus shuttling people around from museum to museum. Not entirely a learning event since most people treat it as a fiesta. So drinks around and the oldest Polish folk music playing in the oldest bus possibly still in working condition. Great fun.
