Because I've always enjoyed taking the difficult route, I decided to reach Poland by way of ferry boat from Tallinn (Estonia) to Helsinki, stay a few more nights with the super hero they call Chris Code and then fly out of Finland (which looks very similar to Northern British Columbia (I might add) and then over to visit the country of earl grey tea known as England. So to break down, Estonia to Finland, Finland to England, England to Poland. It might have been wise to look at a map as Latvia to Poland would have been a little easier, but I like bus rides.

On the way to catch the bus from Helsinki to Tampere (2 hours away) I left perhaps a few minutes too late for the coach station. Arriving at 4:32pm for the efficient Finnish 4:30pm departure just wouldn't do and lucky that the bus was at a traffic light when I emerged. The very friendly bus driver opened the doors and allowed me the safe passage to heaven above in the form of an airplane.
