well here i am in vietnam and to tell the truth i am confronted by the war on an almost continual basis. i went to the cu chi tunnels yesterday which is a pretty famous tunnel network that the vietcong used during the war. the fact that its only 30 kilometers from downtown saigon is amazing. today i went to the war museum and once again found myself in an awkward position. i plan on writing a bit about this but right now im just sweating to damn much to be able to think straight. the reason for this post is because i have just loaded some pictures onto my website and i wanted to say that i am not making any sort of statement about the vietnam war or war in general. i am not saying the americans were wrong or the vietnamese. the sights i visited are obviously very one sided and some people may take offense or think that i am in some way expressing my own political views. this is not the case, i have simply taken photos of a very unpleasant subject and thanks to the internet, i can share them with you. i am not one to push my view points on people, we are all old enough and mature enough to form our own opinions, hopefully they are somewhat informed ones at that
