well here i am in chicago, done with alaska for the year and just kinda visiting the family and friends before heading back out into the wide world. i miss the mountains and the fresh air. i landed in ohare and almost went crazy with all the people around me. im not used to the crowds anymore and i felt overwhelmed by the wave of bodies washing around me. bangkok should drive me nuts and calcutta i dont even want to think about.

i found it surprising that it was a little difficult to leave alaska, i had put down shallow roots there and i knew a lot of cool and nice people. leaving a semblence of a normal life gave me pause for thought but still didnt stop me in the end. so here i am where i started 9 months ago and im ready to begin again. life is crazy when i stop and think about it but i try not to do that to much. hope all is well in everyones lives and i can about promise that this blog will get a lot more attention now that im on the road again
