OK...I think I promised a bank horror story. I swear to god..Walkalloverya has to be importing tellers from here. The banks have been pretty much a horror story, but this morning I wanted to exchange travelers checks for quetzales. I had to practice signing my name a million times on a piece of paper so it would match exactly. Thank goodness there was a gentleman there having a worse problem than me with travelers checks, but his spanish was beautiful! I've had a glorious morning in Pana which you will see from the photos. Had a bit of a hard time getting a shuttle to Xela, I wanted to go earlier, but canīt leave Pana til 4PM. I have info about a hotel close to the school where I can stay since they close at 6pm tomorrow, I canīt meet my host family til Monday I guess. I have found a place with live music tonight so I am off to take a nappie poo to conserve energy for later! Once again....muchos grasis for all the emails!

Love the photos
Betsy...I love your photos with the vivid colors that are part of the culture. I had no idea you were such an adventurous soul...your commentaries are great. You better watch out the Travel Channel may offer you a show. I can see it now 'Betsy does Guatemala', 'Betsy does whereever'. - Sharon and Paul
