I will be using a Garmin Etrex Summit, (which I can't read the face, way to small) GPS and a new Olympus Stylus Tough-8000 digital camera, you can see it here, http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1448

Another piece of equipment will be a new pair of shoes called FiveFingers from Vibram you can see them at http://www.vibramfivefingers.com

These shoes are suppose to work wonders, in Ecuador many people wear high top rain boots because of the moisture, I have found that your feet tend to get very hot and any wetness can't escape, so time will tell with pictures and we will see if the hype is true.

I will be updating you on how the camera works the GPS have been around for a while and continues to do what it does best, tell me where I am at.

T-Deli restaurant in Hillcrest is my starting point because before embarking on any trip you need to have a good meal, and Alex the owner and the staff always make sure that every meal is great. If anyone has a good picture of the front of T-Deli please email it to me so I can post on the blog, thanks.

My second stop is Texas to visit family then off to Ecuador and parts unknown, on this trip I plan to visit a true lost city, while it sounds fun it is a four day hike in the jungle over rivers, up and down mountains so I can say wow, I really hope that everyone enjoys the pictures and blog.
