I follow the road as it winds up the hillside giving me a great panoramic view of the region. On the other side of the river is a wide flood plain with sparse vegetation, giving it a different feel from the normal view of dense palm groves. Around another bend I reach the village of Ouzagood, perched atop a steep hill with long, narrow alleys leading to the impressive ruins of a mud castle and tower.
