Back in Adventure Mode again.
This time I don't head out my door and just start walking. Today I’m going to take a bus to Ain Harrouda and start my hike exactly where I left off . It’s only a short sprint from there to the sizeable city of Mohammedia which should be fun to explore.
And so I head down the road, with a new apartment development going up on one side, and cows grazing on a trash littered pasture on the other. A bit further down a modern looking warehouse is going up… then there’s a cluster of basket weaving stalls—where they weave chairs and tables as well… Then as the smokestacks of the refinery get closer and closer… And I reach Mohammedia.
Mohammedia is going to take more than a day to thoroughly explore… so I’ll save exploring its "heart" for another day. Today I’ll just wander down to it’s southwestern end and back again.
Today I’ve got another objective as well: I have 93 songs that are starting to slip, and it seems the only way to get them to really stick is to sing them while out on the road while in Adventure Mode. Fortunately Mohammedia has an abundance of parks and I find a couple where I can sit and strum for a couple of hours, reinforcing my repertoire which now stands at 290 songs. Although there aren’t as many glue sniffers here, Mohammedia seems to have more than its share of homeless crazy people one of whom insists that he knows how to play the guitar…
I do get a couple of more respectable listeners—including a young fellow who really does know how to play the guitar… so I take a break from singing for a bit and let him and his friend belt out some popular rai tunes…
And with that I decide to call it a day.
