of sleep. Yes you heard me right we slept for about 16 hours.
We started off our first day after about 20 hours of more of flying
pretty tired. We arrived at about 5 a.m. and got to our hotel around 7
-ish. I say 7-ish because we both don't have a clock and it turns
out it makes the day really weird. Well Tyler said something about
sleeping, but I told him that there is no time to sleep so we hoped on
a local bus/mini-van for about .50c and went into town. We sort of
stumbled about in the streets and came into a local backpacking store.
After hearing him mumble on about millions of things we decided to set
up my scuba certification and head to the southern part of the island
at some beach resort to get my scuba dives, and see the area. As of
right now we are just killing time waiting for the bus to come pick us
up at 12:00.
Anyways you'd expect Nadi to be right on a beautiful beach, but you
would be wrong. Strangely we didn't even see the ocean until later in
the day when we decided to go golfing on the most beautifully kept, and
scenic golf course we have ever experienced. When I say beautiful kept
and scenic, I of course mean pretty badly maintained and alright
looking. Despite that it was cheap and we felt like golfing. We
golfed for god knows how long and decided it must be pretty late and we
should head back to town for some food. We hadn't eaten since breakfast
where I smartly decided to buy some awesome fruit and cheese bread so
we were pretty hungry and tired. We stopped by some Indian restaurant
to grab food, and we asked about the time and apparently It was only
like 2:00. The food was awesome and we decided to go back to the hotel
for a "quick nap". If you payed attention to the beginning of the
story you'd see that the quick nap was really about 16 hours of sleep.
Anyways over and out.
*I guess i can upload pictures so I'll do that later on sometime
