Had the leftover pastries and bread from dinner for breakfast, before getting a taxi back to the airport and then a bus to the main train station. When trying to print our pre paid tickets the machine wouldn't accept any of our credit cards because they didn't have chips, like alll the new european ones. Jess waited in the help line but the train came and we tried to get on with our printed reciept, but the stupid french bloke wouldnt let us on so we missed the train. Jess lined up again and finally we got the tickets and were able to get ont the next train. Because we missed our first train which was a fast one which went the whole way to Pau. We had to get off our slower one halfway there at Dax and then hop onto a bus for the rest of the way. Once in Pau we got a taxi to the campervan hire place and there was only one lady that spoke a little english. We got a huge campervan, which was way bigger than what we had booked or payed for. It looked brand new, but once they showed us around it the flatscreen TV didn't work and then they had to fix the water pump and one of the doors didnt work as the key had snapped off in the lock. After Showing us how evreything worked we drove to the nearest one of those huge shops to stock up on supplies. After shopping we couldn't get either door to work so we spent about half an hour trying to get in before evan forced one of the doors open. We stayed on the side of the highway just outside Pau for the night and cooked in the van.
