From Santa Rosa we headed back towards the Californian coast for a wicked drive along the scenic drive called the avenue of the giants it juts from the coast, through the forest and the huge redwood trees.

We visited the Humboldt national forest, home to the world biggest tree!!! and other massive trees in the beautiful rain forest. And redwood National park. We drove through a couple of drive through trees, a drive on log, talk a few trails through the forests. The forests were home to plenty of bears, elk and mountain lions but unfortunately didn't spot any :(

Had a wicked few days exploring the last stretch of California next stop Oregon & Washington State!!
