From Pagosa saw some more Colorado and it's beautiful scenery on and off the road. Spent one night in Colorado springs visiting all their attractions, including the waterfall Seven Falls it was frozen :(. Then spent one night in Boulder, where we watched The Saints win the super bowl. The next day we took a long drive towards Mount Rushmore. The scenery changed from trees and mountains, to the very flat and boring scenery of Nebraska. Then we finally entered South Dakota and The Black Hills. Lots of big trees, heaps of wildlife by the side of the road, alot of fun.
Visited Mount Rushmore, The crazy horse memorial. A`carving in the making, it's been 50 years and it only has a face, I think one day it's going to be a massive man riding a horse. In South Dakota, also visited Badland national park famous for it's scary looking spiky rocks.
From South Dakota headed back into Colorado and stayed in Denver for 2 nights where we bought a new car and took back our rental and got prepared for our next big road trip back through Utah!
