Where I stayed
The end wasn't that bad, but at the beginning onto 5:47 PM, all me and my family did was sit on our computers. Like the day before, I watched TV, but only because my mom was, and my grandfather's TV is upstairs, and hardly anyone else in my family goes up there, so no one could hear me watch.
Then I went downstairs asking if I could go check the mail, and I got totally embarrassed by my dad, because he said, "Today's Sunday." All I said was, "Oh." That was dorky... So I went back upstairs and wrote the TV thing about the guy who has twenty kids. I sort of spent the rest doing that as well.
At precisely 5:47 PM, my parents had taken me and my brother out for pizza and Pi Pizzeria, which we believe is more Italy and more New York, where we live, asides from Sophie T's, a place where we think is New Haven. At the end of it, I wanted to get out of it more than you could imagine, but my mom said I had to wait until they paid the check. My mom thought my dad had started getting mad about the amount of money he paid, but the word he rather used was "frustrated". Then out of nowhere, Nicolas shot open the door and hit the back of someone's head. The only words I heard after that were, "Excuse me?!" and I wasn't sure whether it was the guy who got hit on the head, or my dad. After, in public, my dad tried to smack him. On the drive back, no one talked until we reached the turn into Wauwinet, and the people who were talking were Mom and Dad. (Uh-oh!) Once we reached the house, me and dad got out, but Mom stayed in the car and said that she was going around the circuit, and my brother volunteered to come, but my dad pulled him out. Mom didn't realize it was because he wanted to apologize, though.
It was a thirty minute drive, and when she came home, my dad and Nicolas were talking to each other, but then Mom interrupted, and both of them went into her room, and they had this huge fight about how they're always blaming each other, and I was afraid the next day I would be on the phone talking to my friend, saying, "You'll never believe what's happening in my family! My parents are getting a divorce!" But they didn't, and at the end, my dad came walking out of the room. I went in the room to see if everything was right, but all Mom said was, "You heard us." She made me get my "Little Women" book, because she said if I don't understand a chapter, I have to read it over. So I did, then I went to bed and once again had the stupid fight with my brother about the comforter. He ended up winning, but I ended up smacking him. The little sister can never lose...
That's it really, I guess. What a day, though!
