 We awoke to a calm and sunny day; a weather reprieve so we kept driving through to Roseburg Oregon while the weather was nice. Apparently the storm is still ahead of us with rains expected on Tuesday but for today, clear sailing.

It was nice to be back in the Northwest where the rivers run full and the forests display a mix of fir, pine, maple, alder, oak, and a soft fall palate covers the hillsides, fresh snow on Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta.  We hope to be home tomorrow after a wonderful six weeks on the road.
