We drove all day under cloud cover through the beautiful Wallowa Mountains and eastern Oregon. As we neared the border of Idaho we could see a well defined line where clouds stopped and clear blue sky began and ran as far as the eye could see.  The line coincided with the Idaho State Line and the blue skies followed us the rest of the day.

We overnighted in a campground set on the Snake River, very pleasant.
