I spent an hour today staring at the grey sky. My thoughts were plenty and as grey as the sky i stared into. I was overwhelmed with how to deal with them, having had few problems with my thoughts of this kind over the past couple of months i was struck by them.

So staring at the sky and watching the obvious change unfold in front of me it occurred to me that such obvious change was exciting to watch and i wish i could view the changes in myself over the past 3 weeks. Change can take time or it can come quickly, its all relative. Rain in time will come to this country more and more. Snow will return and then followed up quickly by spring and with it the new life and sun.

Decisions, like change, should never come easy, or you would make the wrong ones all the time. Decisions that are hard to make usually are hard due to how important that decision will be impacted on your life. Now that the decision has been made the only way is forward and/or up. I often ask whilst im climbing 'where should i go', the often simple response is ‘up!’. As annoying as this comment can sometimes be, it is also the right one. I wrote in my blogs way back when, that once you have hit rock bottom the only way to go is forward and/or up. And despite i am nowhere near rock bottom, the same theory still applies.
