Greetings to all from a World Heritage site. Siem Riep is home to the temples of the Angkor. For all you out there who haven't seen this, DO IT! And for all of you that have, you know what I'm talking about. Until you are on the ground here it is very difficult to imagine how expansive this archiological site is. The Khmer once ruled an empire from Burma to Viet Nam and Laos/ Southern China to Malaysia. One could spend the better part of their life studynig this amazing place. I figure that there are far better authorities on Angkor then I so, I will leave the explanations to them. I have decided instead to allow the pictures to do the explaining for me. Hope you all enjoy them. I'll be leaving Cambodia in the morning to head for Bangkok to meet a friend. From there I think north in Thailand.
