Ladies and Gentlemen - I am ILL!! I knew the MINUTE I actually admitted to being well, the axe would fall. For the last two days I have been laid up in bed with a temperature, a headache and bottom explosions. Anyway, at least my other problem has gone away and I have a flat stomach for the first time in India - yey! There's also loads to tell you. First of all, I have seen none of the coverage of the terrorist attacks here (well, very little anyway), but can I just say that the media, as per usual has blown it way out of proportion. As I type, Leopold, bless them, have opened for business again, just 4 days after the attack, and no, there is NOT going to be a war with India and Pakistan. Indians laugh when you tell them that! Bombay, as everybody said, bounced back in about 2 days, as if nothing had happened at all. The saddest thing is the Taj, which was full of beautiful art works and tapestries etc (yes, to everyone at Christie's - they were probably worth something) - God knows how much damage has been done. Anyway - enough air space! I am more worried about my bottom to be honest ;-)
