Today, 4th July in Christchurch is a beautiful day, sun shining and lovely and warm. Have finished moving Jodi today and her place is a mess but im sure by the time we get home (hopefully) she will have it all sorted.  My face has broken out in some sort of reaction to some moistureíser i used in Oamaru so now have to take anti inflamritaries to stop me from scratching, hopefully it will settle down in a couple of days.  Jodi and her friend Chris took us to the markets in Riccarton before we went to the air port to head off to Auckland.

We arrived in auckland to pouring rain and alistair was there with the umbrellas to we wouldnt get wet when we were going to the car. Alistair took us to the international airport and we then had to check in through the security one and a half hours before we left, just because we were going to the States.  The plane left on time but about half an hour into the flight the fun started...... we hit turbulence quite bad and i'm afraid Brian didn't handle it very well.  I was busy watching a movie and then next minute his glass of water went flying and when i turned to look at him he was as white as a ghost and his eyes were rolling back. I rang for the flight staff but they were all busy trying to find sick bags for all the kids that were being sick, so i rang it again because by now Brian wasn't far off being out to it.  The came and put him on oxygen and eventually he did come right but had the oxygen on for about 2 hours  and they kept a close eye on him for the rest of the trip, which was thankfully uneventful.  We arrived in LA at 2.30pm  got through customs no problem then we had to find the shuttle to take us to anahiem.  This would be one of the worst shuttle rides i have ever had to experience.  The driver was in a mood and got really angry when they didnt tell him here were others to be picked up so he would have a full load.  We drove around the airport and eventually ended up where we got on 40minutes before. There was lots of phone calls, swearing, name calling etc in that time.  We eventually left the airport and we arrived at our hotel at 5pm. We got ourselves settled in and then went for a walk cos we needed to walk after sitting for all that time. Came back and had a shower and now Brian is waiting for the fireworks as Disney Land to start.  well this will do for now i will add another blog tomorrow with pics from Disney land.
