Our Canoe ride was postponed, due to the rain. Or shall I say...torrential down pour. We departed at 8am (not 6) and headed for the National Park. The waterways were full of animal, many of which were drying off in the sun. 

We spotted a Sloth, many howler monkeys, Green Heron's, Green Ibis, Turkey Voltures, Northern Jacana, Caiman, Green Basilisk, Green Iguana's, Ground Anoles and several weavers.

I missed the shot, but watching 2 green Basilisk's run on water was amazing. It happened 2 ft away from us and it was amazing. 

I strongly recommend the Canel tour with Abel from Rana Roja Lodge.
