It did not take long for us to get into a grove. The next morning we were on the streets bartering for a well deserved breakfast. For ex, after an hour of haggling with the locals we managed to get 6 eggs, yogurt, 1 tomato, 1 onion, 3 bananas, and bread for 2 Canadian dollars.
Maputo is full of character. Every 500m there is someone selling something. From fresh fruit to sea food. The streets are lined with beautiful tropical trees that cast a refreshing shadow over the +36c street. But, be careful not to get too caught up. It took me about 1 min to realize that pedestrians DO NOT have the right away. I am pretty certain they will actually accelerate when they see you J
