Well, there is not much to do in Kang but take pictures and enjoy a small village nestled in the Kalahari Dessert. Everyday I find myself taken by a beautiful African sunset and the people that surround me.
After work it is typical of me to tour around and take some photos. Just last week I fell head over heal with this baby goat (I think the feeling was mutual). What started as a few shots ended with a new friend? He was hungry and trying to eat anything he could (Skirt and shoes included) to top it off, he was cutting the cheese every min. loll
I guess I should explain the photo of the door. The lodge itself is great, but the locks and keys suck. Just the other day I found myself locked in my own bathroom. (Not embarrassing at all) So, I am standing in my towel yelling out the window for help. Luckily within 10 mins help was on the way. So, now I am standing in my towel and behind the other doorss the crew, laughing at me :) They tried pulling out the hinges, ripping the door off and finally one hour later I was free. (Note: The lodge did not have a spare key)
Well, this posting is not full of adventure, but I think you will enjoy the photos
