We arrived in Montevideo in the evening. Montevideo is Uruguay's capital. There are approximately 1.5 million inhabitants in this city; approximately 44% of Uruguay's entire population! Our evening in Montevideo consisted of dinner and a walk through the city's historic streets.

*** We spent most of the day in Punta del este beach...

In the evening, back in Montevideo, we all went to dinner to a restaurant across the street where we invited Rochelle, a fellow Los Angelina, to join us. Brenda and I then went back to the hotel to change into ourparty attire...to the local bars we went ready to dance!

Friday March 25, 2005 Back to Buenos Aires, Argentina
We took the ferry back to Buenos Aires. During the ride, I gave Jan and Mathias a crash course in make up application. They were very generous in their ability to seem interested. Mathias later informed me that he was interested in the amazing effect make-up can cause. What else could we do!? We needed something to kill the time, right? Besides, the gals were making fun of me for noticing guy with a green jacket! Back at the bus station, we decided to not venture back into the city since we didn't have enough time to do anything substantial. Late in the evening, we found ourselves aboard a Via Bariloche "luxury" coach for our 16 hour journey to the magical Foz de Iguazu. Considering it was a 16 hour ride, I was pleasantly surprised that it went by so fast! The gals ended up having a hilarious riot in the back of the bus. It also helped that we had a full nights rest since the seats were quite comfortable.
